Synopsis: Hill, a Jewish financial broker and podcaster, wants to wed London, a black fashion designer, but the two young people’s cultural differences and the prejudices of their parents may make it difficult. Because they were influenced by films like Guess Who and Meet the Parents, Hill and director Barris, who worked together on the screenplay, didn’t seem all that interested in finding material that would fit the issues at hand.
