Synopsis: Augustus Landor (Bale), a former investigator and “specialist in gloveless interrogation,” is dispatched to West Point, New York’s United States Military Academy to look into the death and degradation of a cadet’s body in the 1830 opening scene of the movie. Aside: 150 years later, West Point produced another alumnus who, after a brilliant career with the 110th Special Investigations Unit, is now stomping throughout the country making amends with his mighty fists and deadly headbutt.
