Synopsis: The Gray Man, written by Joe Russo, Christopher Markus, and Stephen McFeely, is based on bestselling novelist Mark Greaney’s novel of the same name, however the story aspects appear to be plagiarised from a host of noteworthy action flicks. Six (Gosling) is a “hardened criminal” who is permitted out of jail to embark on top-secret murder operations for a dubious government group, similar to Suicide Squad. As in The Bourne Identity, this highly trained assassin falls out of favour with the organisation after botching a hit to rescue a kid bystander.
