Synopsis: Rocketman, a 2019 biopic starring Taron Egerton who won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Elton John, benefited from Taron Egerton’s casting in terms of both box office revenue and critical acclaim. Tetris is about the development of the game, thus it was a risk to adapt, and it required exposure. It would have been weird and nearly difficult to translate Tetris to film because it lacks a plot like The Last of Us or Arcane has. Tetris, which uses biography as a way to examine the history of video games, occasionally fails to strike a balance between the seriousness of its dramatic passages and the campiness of its humour, but it is ultimately a fun movie.
