Synopsis: Pilot Brodie Torrance works for an airline. He has a New Year’s Eve flight from Singapore to Tokyo planned. He learns that one of them will be Louis Gaspare, a man who is being extradited on murder charges, just before takeoff. The handcuffed offender is accompanied by a police officer who assures him that he will bear full responsibility for him. After passing through a severe storm, the airplane runs into serious problems. It experiences an electrical failure due to a lightning strike.
