Love Again 2023: Love Again is a remake of a German film, directed by Karoline Herfurth and released in Spain as A Message for You, based on the novel of the same name by Sofie Cramer, published in 2009 by Rowohlt Verlag. The action of the American film hardly differs from the German one; in fact, apart from the locations and the names of the characters, the story follows the plot of the novel and the first film version with modest care. Thus, we meet Mira, a young woman in her thirties, and her boyfriend, John; they are both very much in love and when he dies in a car accident, the world falls apart for Mira. Two years later she is still in emotional mourning; During this time, to alleviate his grief, he is sending messages to John’s old cell phone, as if he could still talk to him, in an action that gives him great emotional comfort, without knowing that this number has already been assigned to another person, music journalist Rob, who in turn has been nearly abandoned at the altar by his fiancée.
