Synopsis: Four main individuals serve as the foundation for Babylon’s story. They all arrive on the scene and approach it with very different perspectives. Manuel “Manny” Torres, a Mexican immigrant, is the first person we encounter. a subordinate assistant who seeks influence in the boardroom by using his aptitude for problem-solving. He meets Nellie LaRoy at a particularly wild party at the opening of the movie. She is a small-town girl who wants to break into the big city. With the help of a mound of cocaine, she is strutting her thing in an effort to capture the attention of someone who will put her in front of the camera.
